Kia ora! I’m foremost a māmā to my daughter, and I’m also an Urban Design and City Planner, with over a decade's experience in advocating for a more sustainable and equitable Tāmaki Makaurau. I also have a background in Communications, Design and Advertising. I was a Generation Zero Campaigner (youth-led climate advocacy group), and the co-founder and former chair of Women in Urbanism (until recently!). I am also an author, with published articles with Greater Auckland, the Herald and The Spinoff.

I am particularly concerned with the lack of equitable planning and design of our towns and cities - when we design cities and towns with our most vulnerable populations in mind, we design places that work well for everyone. Energy poverty is one of those inequities that needs to be urgently addressed, and Entrust has the power to reduce the daily struggles of Aucklanders, and reduce the stresses associated with the monthly power bill. But it’s crucial to have people who are willing to do the work and care about the future of Aucklanders on the Entrust Board, to create a fairer energy future for all Aucklanders. That’s why I am running.

‍Turangawaewae:I was born and raised on a small beef farm north of Whangārei, in the area of Marua/Whananāki. I lived there until coming to Tāmaki Makaurau to study, and now currently live in Waterview with my whānau.
