I’m standing for Entrust to bring fresh leadership and representation as the first Asian Trustee. I have a proven track record in business, governance and community service.  I’m committed to greater accountability, efficiency and transparency for Entrust  .

I moved with my parents to Auckland from Taiwan in 1989.  I studied marketing at the University of Auckland and hold a bachelor degree of International business from Taiwan. My wife and I have raised our two children in the Botany community.   

I’m the former Auckland Councillor for Howick and was a Counties Manukau District Health Board member.  During my time on council I supported Auckland’s climate action plan Te Tāruke-ā-Tāwhiri and investment in climate action.    

My business "Paul Young International", operates events in New Zealand. My offices and art gallery are on Queen Street.  

The opportunities for energy efficiency and savings are currently wasted. The value of the dividend is diminishing.   I will bring fresh thinking and leadership to Entrust that will put more money in your pocket.  I will ensure the voices of all Aucklanders are represented.
